Beloved Community
If you open your eyes and take a closer look at the small town of Alpena, you can see it’s a great place to be born and raised in. I’m grateful to live here because there isn’t much crime here and most of the people living here are kind. Alpena could use more activities for the youth though. I know as a teenager that I’d like to have more things to do with my friends. Volunteers, fundraising, and grants could help achieve in bringing more things to do for not only children, but for all ages in our town. Alpena could benefit from this by pulling in more tourists and make more people want to either stay here or live here. More people means more money to expand and make Alpena even better as a community.
