Bella Give Birth Experience

Improved Essays
On july 5th 2015, was the time where a lot of exciting and pressuring things happened. That day 4 beautiful puppies were born. In all honestly, I was scared because my dog Bella, who is the one who gave birth to the puppies, couldn’t go to the hospital due to financial issues. But we got all the materials we needed in order to help out Bella give birth. Seeing the whole processes with my eyes changed on how giving birth really is. This whole experience was an honor and blessing to be apart of.

It was about 6:00 pm when Bella started huffing and puffing like her life depended on it. It was not a good sight to see because just seeing a mother in distress is horrible. We placed her on a small room we have in our house so she could give birth

The only ones allowed inside the room were me, my mom, and my sister. My mom was a huge help during the whole process because she knew what Bella was going through, she sympathized with her. Around 12:00 am was when the first blob of goo was being shown. Bella was suffering just by pushing and everyone could clearly see that just by looking at her.

The first baby came out, who was named Charlie right after he was removed by all that blop. Actually, Charlie wasn’t the first one out, a cute little lifeless puppy was and she was named Jasmine. Oh Jasmine didn’t make it unfortunately. Which still saddens me to this day because she looked exactly like her dad, Pancho. My heart broke in pieces knowing that Bella’s first baby girl died while in the tomb and I know this because she wasn't moving at all the whole time while we were trying to remove the blob from her little body.

At the end of the day, really only just a hours, 4 beautiful puppies were born strong and healthy. The four puppies being (in order from oldest to youngest, left to right), Charlie, Luna, Panchita, and Chubby. 2 puppies sadly decided to stay sleeping in heaven as they think it’s for a good reason. We miss them so dearly and they know that. After the whole birth process, Bella slept safe and soundly because she had all four of her babies surrounding her. I smiled at them, thanking them in my head for letting me experience

Barbara J. King introduces her argument with a very serious and riveting story about a mother dolphin in distress over the corpse of her baby and uses this anecdote to grab the audience’s attention, appeal to their pathos, and intrigue the audience to continue reading. Her argument is an ambiguous case because even though the two topics of animals and mourning over a loved one would each seem to be honorable, a large portion of the audience she is targeting either doesn’t know or have not formed an opinion with the subject that animals can mourn as well as humans, while others simply disagree with her. Therefore, she must have this kind of introduction to try and win the attention of her readers.…
