This resulted in a democracy which limited the power permitted to certain citizens. However, some might argue that both civilizations are more alike than different because they both believed in the idea of fate. They believed that a person’s decisions would affect them later on whether it be in their afterlife or during their present life. Firstly, India and Greece are different because both civilizations had different approaches on how to strengthen the social structure and government in order for their societies to thrive. In India, the caste system was solely based off of religion and the gods.
