Belbin’s team roles are another affective method that can be used to improve my team work and developing skills, the theory consists of nine different variations of roles that each member of the team will gravitate towards because of their unique interpersonal skills and characters, this is also stated by Belbin himself, ‘individuals naturally gravitate towards specific roles in project teams and perform best when placed in those roles.’ Some of these actions will benefit the team attain its goals however others may not. Belbin determined that operative teams need their participants to convey out nine roles. Sometimes I appear to struggle making choices in a group such as determining which roles individuals should be or how to derive to a decision when a customer query happens at work when the manager or supervisor is not
