Being Thankful Is A Key Factor In Life

Being thankful is a key factor in life. There’s a lot of ungrateful people in this world, especially the wealthy ones. When I see somebody receive a gift from their friends or family, I expect them excited and grateful for what they received, but it turns out to be a rude, disrespectful outcome. I believe everybody should be thankful for everything, no matter how expensive or cheap it is. That being said, being thankful for your friends and family, for military sacrifices, and the option to get an education are three important factors for being thankful.

To begin, friends and family are very important in life. It’s one of those things you just can’t get away from. There’s very few people I know who are graceful to be without family and friends. My family also supported and encouraged me to do some things that I typically did not do but wanted to. No matter what activity was, my family helped me get whatever I needed and also supported me by showing up at various performances and events. Though this act may seem minuscule, it meant a lot to know that I had people who were proud of me and would always love me no matter if I succeeded or failed. Altogether, I know that without the support of my friends and family, I would not be the person that I am…

For most students, the transition from middle school to high school is the evolution from childhood to adulthood. In my case, my middle school graduation was a quick transition for another reason. The first few months of my freshman year had my parents rushing my grandfather in and out of the hospital because of his failing heart. At age 74 he was not a candidate for a heart transplant but he was able to get a defibrillator.…

When we take our parents and relatives for granted we think that they will always be there to help us out and clean up the messes we make no matter what those messes are. In reality however, this is very far from the truth. We first need to be aware of the fact that our parents and relatives are responsible with their own life as everyone else in the world is. They may need to solve a problem in their own life before helping us with the problems that we are facing. This does not mean that they do not care about us, but in the end of the day everyone 's first responsibility is to take care of themselves.…
