Being Successful In High School

Being successful in high school is very important, and will lead to me to potentially be successful in college and in life. In high school, I will be receiving a lot more work and responsibility than what I have now. Making sure that I don’t fail will will require me to change some bad habits that I have and start new ones that will help me work more efficiently. I will have to make sure I get all of my credits needed to graduate long the end of the four years I have.

The challenges that I will get in high school might feel new to me and it will take some time to get familiar with it. I should start my freshman year by getting to know the teachers and students I meet. Since I am pretty antisocial, I usually wait until introductions are done in class to make friends. I should learn to be more comfortable around people before my first year so I will feel more comfortable in high school.

By the end of my four years of high school, I will need at least 24 credits to graduate. To reach that goal, I need to make sure I pass every class I take, especially the core subjects. That will ensure that I get more than the credits I need so I won’t have to be stressed at the end. If I find that I will not have enough credits at any time, I need to make sure

The most important thing is to stop my habit of procrastinating. Whenever I have a project or assignment that I have more than a day to do, I procrastinate until I barely have enough time to finish it. This habit causes me to become stressed at the end and worry that I won’t have enough time. I am trying to change this habit so I won’t have to feel as stressed all the time. I create schedules for myself to stay on track, and I make myself think that the assignment is due earlier than the required time. This method seems to be working and by the time I reach my sophomore year, I should have this habit
