As a child, I was always told “treat others how you want to be treated.” Many people today tend to forget this basic principle known as the Golden Rule. This has become a prominent local, national, and even international issue. People are living their lives in isolation, sometimes from the lack of kindness shown to them from their own families which is perpetuating a culture of distance. Today, society lacks people being kind for kindness sake. Humanity has given us a few stellar examples of what it looks like to be kind purely for the sake of humankind, such as Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa. My solution to this: unmotivated kindness.
