Gratitude is the quality of showing appreciation and being thankful. By being grateful, one can always find a reason to be happy and glad. Gratitude is healthy for one’s heart and soul. Recently, a professor of public health at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine did a study and was able to conclude that the more grateful people are, the healthier they are, both mentally and physically. Gratitude enables us to express more generosity and cheerfulness. Anyone can express gratitude by acknowledging the abundance of things in their possession.
