Imagine being so nervous to do something and then once you finally do it, you get applauded by over 100 people. Bravery means courageous behavior or action. Courage means not deterred by danger or pain; brave. To be brave or courageous can sometimes be a lot of hard work, depending on what you are trying to be brave for. I was once a cheerleader for my high school and our most important game was coming up; the game against our rivals.

This was it, the day of the game; everyone was so energetic throughout school that no one could wait for the game. I had never been as nervous for a halftime performance as i was for this one. Our team had been practicing our routine for over four weeks! I knew it so well i could do it with my eyes closed. I was just so nervous because i know the other school's team was just as good as ours. As school was coming to an end, i got more anxious.

The game had just began and both crowds were getting hyped. Our team was winning 14-0 and it was the beginning of the second quarter. My team and I were cheering so loud and so spirited that the other school's crowd could hear us clearly. The only thing that had us worried was that the other team was just as loud. The other team went first and we began to get more nervous. Although they had good jumps, I noticed that their stunts were falling and their dance wasn't that good. Then they were done performing and their crowd cheered. Now, it was our turn. At this exact moment i thought, "Do i wanna show them that I'm nervous or do i wanna show them who runs this field?" We got to our spots and once the music started, I gained my bravery. Our team hit every stunt, had amazing jumps, and completely conquered our dance. The music ended and BOTH of the crowds were cheering for us so crazily that I got the goosebumps. I was so proud of my team and myself and all the schools were talking about how great our team
