As a freshman I was very afraid of making mistakes and looking stupid in front of my peers” (1). It made me realize about the importance of making mistakes and accepting yourself. I am able to honestly and appropriately acknowledge my own weaknesses, and mistakes. I also apologize when I do something wrong and ask for feedback on how can I be better. It is important to always respect others beliefs no matter what. Therefore, I consider myself as a humble person. There is so much cruelty in this world and I’m vowing to make a difference. I feel people only focus on their lives and forget about others in need. That’s why I volunteer in the hospital and in McAllen Sacred Heart Church where we aid immigrants. I just want to make a small difference and help people. It is the reason I want to become a General Physician. I don’t have a story about a doctor that saved my life or someone from my family thankfully. I want to join the organization Doctors Without Borders, travel to different countries helping the poor and the
