A third culture kid as defined by Tracey Tokuhama-Espinosa, is a term used to indicate a person who was influenced by both their parents’ culture and the culture of the country in which they were raised. (Tokuhama-Espinosa). Being a third culture kid has its perks and lows. You are introduced to many different circumstances and it has helped you grow and change through this experiences from moving all over the place. These experiences define and shapes a person’s personality. One of the biggest thing you are exposed to as a third culture kid is diversity.
