Oh my goodness! Guess what I want to be when I grow up!? It is the best job to have and it will save millions even billions of people's lives. It's a DOCTOR! Yes I said doctor. They save people and they also cure people when they need it. Their are two main type of doctors, physicians do surgeons. They both diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. Usually if you work for either a physician of surgeons you would work full time. Their are some differences between the two though. A physician examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe medications, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Surgeons on the other hand operate on patients to treat injuries, such as broken bones, diseases, such as cancerous tumors, and deformities, such as cleft palates. Though they have differences, they also have things in common like they both save people's lives and they both make a lot of money, and they usually work full time on the job because the job is really important to the workers, patients, and everyone else in the world. …show more content…
Almost all physicians complete at least four years of undergraduate school. Also they spend four years in medical school and depending on thief specialty, three to eight years in internship and residency programs. Another thing is most applicants to medical school have a least a bachelors degree and many have advanced degrees. Finally all students must complete undergraduate work in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and English. Students would also take courses in humanities and social
