My character is very skinny, as all day, everyday peasants are dragging their bodies in the hot, sand, and carrying their heavy crops. Peasants live with the the fewest comfort possible in Egypt. They live in simple mud brick houses made by them self. We can be considered as farmers, construction workers, and unskilled laborers. Most people think that peasants are constantly working with no breaks whatsoever, however we celebrate holidays before planting season. Unfortunately , we are the lowest social class and egyptian peasants did not have many rights , but were usually not treated poorly. However Pharaohs depended on us as we give them food, which is what you the need to survive. Speaking of Pharaohs and their food, they would have huge feast with heaps of food. However our simple diet includes bread stuffed with food and honey and Sometimes forced to eat papyrus because of famine. Ancient Egypt's probably eat better than many others in the ancient world.
