Hi Nancy, your note is so funny and makes me laugh. It means everyone that passes through BSN are not married or with a stable boyfriend rather they go after the paramedics? One thing is clear, just as you see them that way, that is how people look at most ADN as people too lazy, fat, and find it difficult to stand up and do their work. Again, even when ADN do most work, they do not fully recognize the rational for doing it compared with the BSN.…

The job of Emergency Medicine is not for the light hearted, nor is it for those who become a doctor for the high income. Emergency Medicine takes dedication and the need to think slowly in cases where you need to work fast, but if you make a mistake, it could kill your patient. You also cannot forget the amount of stress the doctors accumulate due to the job. I learned how I have some of these skills, while I have a hard time thinking about multiple things at once during a surgery. So perhaps I may not be absolutely fit for the job, but I am sure that with practice, I could be able to do well in the…

Individuals performing different occupations may seem to be completely different, but in reality, they are all the same, mentally and emotionally. Also, these individuals will face dilemmas in their line of work that will make them question their morals. These inner battles may influence the individual's decisions, which may result in consequences for the individual. Alternatively, the soldiers trusted individuals that had previously tried to kill them, and they decide not kill these individuals since the soldiers did not want to harm innocent individuals, knowing that this may put them at risk.…

I want to take this course because I know as a Health Care provider that there is so much more knowledge and experience available to make us better at what we do, and how we do it. As an EMT I would always say that I was capable of being more. More, in the sense of knowing that I could help contribute to something bigger than myself someday. And in that capacity it was earning my Paramedic certification to help play a bigger role in the care for the sick and injured. I feel that having this mindset has helped me tremendously overcome some very mentally taxing obsticlals (Paramedic class being one) but it also continues to inspire me to be better than I was yesterday, or on the next 911 call I run.…

Time had slowed down, I saw my grandmother frantically running around the house accumulating all the bandages she could, my mother watching everything transpire unsure of what to do, while my sister was completely oblivious to the situation.…
