It would be a small job because I would focus all my energy on journalism. I could do jobs such as editor for little newspapers or take a temp job. I hope to become a college assistant professor and earn 44k a year, I 'll stay for a few years earning my savings then head out looking for what I really want. I want to either stay in New Mexico or head back to Colorado looking for what I will get. I will get into a big time journalism company, earn my keep and ask to travel the world. I will leap at any promotion they offer. From there I will go from country to country being a journalist/reporter. I will be at ground breaking stories, and after years of traveling I will slow down. I 'll come back home and stay close to family and hopefully find a job working with young kids. Such as a teacher or tutor. Although both passions of mine do not pay well I would rather live a happy poor life than a rich empty …show more content…
Many of the jobs that are offered for journalist consists of field work, such as news reporter. I will offer my services anywhere people are offering. The more experience I encounter, the better chances I have of achieving what I am really working for. Everything I am working up to can easily be taken away from me. So to ensure I have a solid future, I will minor in education and have that background of an elementary teacher. Maybe I will even take substitute jobs while I am looking for a journalist/reporter job. I want to have plenty of paths available to me incase one thing doesn 't work out. I need a future that I can rely on and make my parents proud, so for things to go my way I need to start working hard now. In high school I will take classes such as poetry and creative writing. Everything I do now effects the rest of my life, so I work now so I can relax
