A cheerleader is a person who leads spectators in traditional or formal cheering, especially at a pep rally or athletic event. That might be the formal definition of a
cheerleader but what is a cheerleader to society? Cheerleaders are stereotyped in many ways, and most of the ways have a negative light. I can honestly say by being a cheerleader more relationships have been created for me, and I have been created into a more friendly person with a lot of character.
I am like other people in this group in many ways. One way I am like all other cheerleaders is by the way that I dress. Typically you find that cheerleaders dress nice, and like to look cute. When I go out of my house I always like to have on cute clothes and jewelry, and also feel good about myself. Another way that I am like people in this group is that I am a friendly person. When you are a cheerleader everybody typically knows who you are so it makes it easier to communicate with people. Not all people of a group are the same. I am the same as the average cheerleader in many ways, but I am also extremely different. There are no two people in this world that are the same. If I could give one piece of advice to someone who is talking about cheerleaders I would tell them to let someone educate them before they make assumptions. I strive everyday to try to prove people wrong about cheerleaders. I do everything I can to make sure that people know that cheerleaders can be smart. I have also done everything possible to try to keep a good reputation. Someone could miss out on a sport they would really enjoy all because they let society's words influence their opinion. Being educated is a very important part of life, not only school educated, but being educated about people. Have you taken the time to become
