Personal Health Reflection Paper

Being introduced to public health I learned the dimension consisting of physical ,emotional ,and social and environmental wellness . These dimension of health have affected my individual health.Throughout my life I have experience all these dimension ,the most common one to my personal health social and environmental wellness ,emotion health, and fitness.Every dimension is important to me and becoming aware of my personal health can improve my health overall .

I try to practice preventing like eating a balanced vegetarian nutrition diet since in my family we have history of diabetes, high blood pressure ,and cholesterol. I try to exercise for an hour a day ,use a seatbelt , brush my teeth and floss two times a day ,and take all prescribe

And when I was 13 they did a Nasal cauterization treatment on my right side of my nose after I had excessive nosebleeds . And everything was going well until a couple of months later I noticed that I started to feel fatigue and asked my dad to take me to a hospital after I was consistory throwing up ,and that same night after blood work the doctors saw my hemoglobin was below 7 although my hemoglobin on average was alway below 10 they informed my parents about a chronic disease I have called Anemia .From that point on i was on iron -deficiency pill .The pill were not making a difference in my body ,so in mid March I began to get blood transfusion every week . Till today I still have Anemia ,and will go back to my blood infusion and go on regular check -ups since it can affect the eyes,especially the retina , creating a vision blurred , and a forty -five percent chance of hearing loss
