When anyone said ‘No’ she heard ‘Yes’, and that practice made her stronger. Everyone hears ‘No’. It’s those of us who decide to defy them that change the world. Holly Bowers is a product of Manhattan, NY, which explained a lot when she mentioned it. So what ‘no’ did Holly challenge that made a difference in not only her life, but the life of women who would come after her?

There is always something to fight. Racism, sexism, ageism, no matter who you are or how amazing you are, you have a fight. Even from behind the camera, as I got older, my age began to affect my opportunities. Everyone wants what’s fresh, including a young, fresh face. Especially when you are engaged in freelance work. Show business is 98% business and 2% talent.
I was amazed. Despite all she achieved, what she had to offer AND the fact that she worked primarily BEHIND the scenes, her age was still a factor. Enters Noodling ‘Round With Viagra’.
Me: What made you decide to do a parody on Viagra?
Holly: I need to get my name and work back out there. I have some screenplays that I have been holding on to and it’s time to get them out. But first, I have to let people see who I am and connect with the right individuals. The Viagra parody was birthed from a morning I was lying in bed and an actual Viagra commercial came on. I thought to myself, ‘I could make this funny’. So I did.
Holly can also relate to the commercials. She is in the habit of dating younger men, when she dates, because men her age, 77, are lousy in bed.
Me: Is there anything that your heart was set on accomplishing that you haven’t to
