Behavioral skills training consists of, instructions, modeling, rehearsal and feedback in order to teach people new skills (Miltenberger, 2016). In the Bible, we can find the best example of behavioral skills training with Jesus and his disciples. Jesus’ entire life on Earth consisted of behavioral skills training, especially his lesson on love. In John 13:34 Jesus instructs his disciples to, “love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (New Revised Standard Version). Jesus modeled this behavior for his disciples in everything he did.
