Student Information
The examiner observed Ivan in the general education classroom. Ivan had his head laying on his desk meanwhile listening to the teacher instructions. Then he read a book and raised his hand to comment on the teacher discussion. A video of History was displayed to the group. Ivan remained quiet on his desk. As the film progressed, he was spinning in his chair and did not commence the next activity. Ivan reclined his head on the desk for most of the observing process. The teacher frequently suggested him to advance on his work, however, Ivan intermittently write on his notebook or played around the chair. Occasionally, Ivan initiated a small talk with peers, hit the desk, bothered and taunt another student and kneeled on his chair during this examination.

Regarding his cognition and self-help skills, Ms. Moreno implied that Ivan cannot comprehend, or quickly respond to new concepts and skills as the same rate as peers, however, he is capable of learning by demonstrations, enjoys using building blocks and drawings and shows an average activity level. Conversely, Ivan needs repetition for multi-step instructions, has recently improved his fine motor skills and likes to eat using his hands and like to divide different foods. Ms. Moreno expressed that Ivan’s communication has been eloquent, however, he usually interrupts when she is on the phone, insinuates traveling through future, only comment about topics of interest, and practical jokes on inappropriate situations. Also, enacting eye contact and use of body language occur improperly and needs of constant cues for attention.
