Behavioral Change Project #3 Throughout the month of September and October I focused my behavioral change project on stretching every day over these two months, though at first it was just to start out as stretching every other day, but of course it evolved into what it is today. My goal may have not been one-hundred percent successful, but it did open the door for me to start a healthy habit. So after choosing a goal, I began to do research on basic stretches and beginner yoga techniques to focus on. I first found a few beginner instruction packets, but nothing to complicated, simply for the fact it is a little difficult to see how to do the proper form without accidently hurting yourself. With this in mind I decided extend my search to youtube and successfully finding a few videos, but …show more content…
With my schedule being full time (three classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, two classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and working Fridays through Sundays for most of the project) it made it near impossible to do my stretches. During this full time schedule I also had to factor in other classes and the workload those were giving me. With this in mind there was something else I was doing at the same time of my project. I was setting timers to remind myself that I only had fort-five minutes to do my project (e.g. homework, drawing, writing etc.) and I had to take a fifteen minutes break. Which is great in theory, but still needs some work in practice which was the same issue that I was having with stretching, not only that, but I could only do my stretches at home. If I did it anywhere else it would: One, Look a tad weird doing some of these “intricate” stretches out in public, and two Without the ability to have full movement of my body it would make it extremely difficult to even attempt to do even some of the basic
