Willow eats an average of 1500 calories a day.
She consumes about 750 calories of carbohydrates, 325 calories of fat, 325 calories of protein, and 4 liters of water a day.

Willow is moderately active. She jogs by herself in the mornings and usually exercises about twice a week for about 30 minutes. Willow also goes to yoga classes for flexibility about once a week for 60 minutes.

Willow is under moderate to high stress due to a lack of sleep and stress due to being a new mother. Willow also feels she has difficulty balancing her social life with her family life.

Willow is in the action stage of the behaviour change theory. This is because Willow is currently working out and beginning activities in an effort to meet her goal. However, Jenna is having a difficult time finding balance as a new mother.

Some of these strategies include, taking a time out. For example, if Willow is having a difficult day taking care of Jenna, while Jenna is busy playing of taking a nap, Willow could take some time to herself to listen to music, practice yoga, or meditate to help her lower her stress. Furthermore, eating a well-balanced meal, limiting alcohol and caffeine, getting enough sleep, and exercising daily, can all help Willow lower her stress levels. I would recommend this method to Willow because she can easily do these methods at home, so she would not need to worry about taking public transit with Jenna. Also, these methods are skills that can be improved upon, and once that is done Willow can continue to use these strategies to help her cope with stress for the rest of her

My goal in this behavioral change project was to slowly eliminate soda and replace it with something more healthy like water. In my project, it was overall a success but I did drink soda a couple of times by accident. At first I had trouble trying to avoid drinking soda but it slowly got better as the weeks went by. In the first couple weeks I had to be conscious about everything I drank so I can avoid drinking any soda. After a few weeks, I stopped having to actively think about it because I just stopped drinking soda as much and built a habit of drinking water instead.…

Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change addresses behavioral change on an individual level with the anticipated outcome that the individual experiences changes in attitudes, intentions, and behavior (Iwasiw and Goldenberg, 2015). Each stage is different, but the individual naturally moves back and forth between the stages during the change process. Before the individual entertains the idea that change is needed they are in the precontemplation stage, which leads into the contemplation stage that thoughts of benefits versus weaknesses is sparked and considered (Clark, 2013). Preparation is planning and prepping to implement specific change, and during the action stage the individual actively makes an effort to commit to the change (Iwasiw…
