In history change typically is never taken in a good way. Sometimes with change wars have started because the change or new idea denies and or doesn’t agree with the original idea. What happens if someone goes to someone and say what they were thought was all wrong and what they learned was the correct answer. Some say that Christians were hated because of their lack of loyalty to the ruler but it was because of their believes in gods. Christians were being tortured and killed because they did not worship the Roman gods even in an agreement in which they didn’t have to believe in them. So why would they agree on people that Jesus is the true god when comparing the stories Jesus is weak and died compared to the strong and immortal gods. The romans believed that if he was the true god why did he had to die and not just use his power to save the people.
Christians denied almost every interest in showing love to the roman gods and the people in power. They had choices to make which ultimately it was life or death. If they continued with their Christian believes and rituals they could they would be tortured to death or just been killed instantly. With the Roman act on Christianity the Christian population started to get into secret meetings where they were not found. The secret meetings where done in places and times where the military couldn’t find them and had a signal in which the ichtys was created to let other Christians know they were safe. Christians rather die in the name of their god instead of showing some sort of loyalty to the Roman government and beliefs.
The Christian executions weren’t just because of hate towards them it was mostly because of the disagreement and argument of the Gods. How could a god that died and was brought back to life compete with gods that have never and would never die.
