Before Happiness

Prior to reading Before Happiness, my notion about happiness incorporated some of the philosophies that Mr. Shawn Achor presented. However, there were plenty on new perspective that changed my outlook on finding happiness. Before, portion of my process would be in only focusing on positive thinking and not allowing negative thoughts to rule my decision making. Somehow, I believed, that in just thinking, without taking action would be enough to create change. Listening to myself say this now, shows me how asinine that thought process truly was. Consequently, that process didn’t bring much happiness into my life since it was only a portion of the equation.
