In this time, Beethoven still struggled to composed and could not finished the compositional process for the new overture effortlessly. Unfortunately, it was premiered with The Ruins of Athens overture, and Beethoven thought that this is shame on him. Consequently, Beethoven finished the composing of new overture with title, Fidelio and this final version of the opera with Fidelio overture was performed on May 26, 1814. Further, Beethoven finally obtained huge success regarding opera genre and his final version of the opera and the overture, and Fidelio overture settled for the opening of the opera as the best and appropriate overture.
