Beethoven Symphony Number 5 Critique

As listening to one of the best music composers to live, Ludwig Van Beethoven, I realize the music he produced is more powerful than I have ever thought. Listening to Symphony Number Five has changed the passion I have for music. Beethoven is my favorite composer to live. On the first movement called Allegro con brio on symphony Five in C Minor is one of my beloved favorite track. I loved when the violins came in and built suspense towards the trumpets. Let’s be honest, where would the song be without the violins?
When I hear Beethoven’s music I close my eyes and just dream. I dream of pretty, young girls dancing to his beautiful and majestic music. I like to paint a picture in my mind of the girls dancing with all their strength. The dancers

He used a lot of soft tones then builds it up to maximum loudness. I enjoy listening to suspenseful music, however, soft tones are awesome too. I assume that a bunch of anger was used in the process of the making. By listening to the calmness of the beginning of the music piece and then suddenly turning into anger towards the end. Towards the end the violinists and pianists speed things up which made my blood pressure rise. Then I was left with wondering what was next.
This movement is dramatic and way more breathtaking and emotional. The piccolo and the trombone’s are my favorite music instruments that are used in this piece. Without the all the amazing, talented and beautiful instruments we would have never gotten Beethoven’s music.
With the third movement called scherzo, I did not enjoy as much as the others because it was very slow and sad however, the clarinets did do a very good job in the piece. When I close my eyes during this piece I see white baby swans swimming very gracefully and then slowly but deliberately a huge black hole begins to form in the water and the swans are trying to get away from being sucked in. That is the part of the music piece when it accelerates up very fast and

Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony is one of the most well-known symphonies ever written. The first movement is “fast with vigor”. The introduction is somewhat deceiving because it does not feel fast. The smoothness of it allows the listener to sit back and forget how quickly the music is progressing. It is not until the first half cadence from V/V to V that the listener feels how dynamic the movement is.…

Then, the orchestra started out strong and loud. Basically, percussion trio and the orchestra performed interchangeably and in unison. The percussion trio also played a variety of instruments, and there was a lots going on in this piece. This is my favorite piece because the percussion trio got to show off their skills and teamwork effort. This piece was also delightful and the audience in awe with the excellent performance of the percussion trio.…

There are few composers as all known as Beethoven. The themes of his compositions surround our lives. Simplified, they are some of the first songs we learn as children, and yet in their fullness, are inescapably complex and thought-provoking. They have influenced our technological culture as well; in 1931, Beethoven’s 5th symphony was produced on the first commercial 33 1/3 r.p.m. LP, and later, the first-generation of compact disks were designed to have a duration of 75 minutes - the perfect length to record his 9th Symphony on.…

It made me image an evil queen lurking in the darkness. Suddenly, the conductor was switched with another and began to play a piece that sent me the image of an undercover spy sneaking into a security base. As for their next piece, it was low pitch and was quiet, but it surprised me with an escalated high pitch towards the end. As for their last piece, it included a strong texture of monomorphism and some homomorphism with breakup iterations during the piece of music.…

Both Ludwig Van Beethoven and Amadeus Mozart are regarded as the head honchos of the classical music era. Mozart was one of the composers that ushered in the classical era, whereas Beethoven studied classicism, refining and expanding on it in order to help usher in the Romantic era. Both names are synonymous with top rate classical composition. In this essay, I will try to determine which of the two curmudgeon composers reigns supreme.…

The “Heiligenstadt Testament” was a document written by Beethoven in 1802, while he was resting in Heiligenstadt (Ludwig van Beethoven 's Biography: Heiligenstadt Testament, n.d.). It was in part his will, the first of three that he wrote during his lifetime (Ludwig van Beethoven 's Biography: Heiligenstadt Testament, n.d.). The document was also a letter to his brothers, in it Beethoven revealed to them that he was deaf and told of the despair he felt because of this (Ludwig van Beethoven 's Biography: Heiligenstadt Testament, n.d.). Beethoven also disclosed that he was suicidal and that his music was the only thing keeping him from taking his own life (Ludwig van Beethoven 's Biography: Heiligenstadt Testament, n.d.). Beethoven’s music fit into three separate periods: 1) a formative period that extends to 1802, 2) a middle period from 1803 to 1812,…

I agree that the instrumental and vocal parts of the music complemented each other well. I also agree that the crescendo's draw the listeners attention back to the music whenever it begins to lag. The build up of the crescendo's create a tension and make the audience wait in anticipation to see what will happen next. The popularity of the music from this symphony, even in modern times, is no surprise to me considering how intriguing it…

The best way to track the evolution of an organism is to observe the changes that occur to it over the span of several generations. Similarly, in music it can be possible to track its evolution by observing changes to a style, genre, or concept. In this report, the focus will fall on movements from two violin sonatas. For the purposes of this discussion, a violin sonata will be defined as a work specifically written for violin and piano with the purpose of it being a chamber piece. In the first movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony it reflects Beethoven’s personal battle raging inside himself as he fought against his own emotions writing the composition. The piece starts out with the exposition exploiting the thirst theme with the well-known four notes often used on television. The theme varies from a soft, piano melody to a pounding almost “frustrated” forte notes. With the constant shifts it is easy to hear the internal conflict between two strong feelings: contentment and anger. Throughout the course of this part of the exposition I personally feel conflict, whether it be internal or external.…
