In the Amazon, around 17% of the forest has been lost in the last 50 years, mostly due to forest conversion for cattle ranching. I think it does affect an ecosystem because if it's alive it will make more. Also if the area around them is being destroyed they can’t produce animals and possible die. There could also be excitation which would make the populations go down.
From my connection map I picked a turtle. If the turtle were to get instinct it would impact the turtle prey by making the population increase and there would be no seagrass beds.. If the turtles prey increased then they would eat all their prey and then there would be no food and cause starvation.
