If I were to teach just a one hour course on muggles to wizarding school students I know exactly what I would teach. I would teach them all about the way muggles dress and why. Things like what types of clothing are appropriate for men, what for women, and boys and girls. Along with a brief explanation about different seasonal clothing. For example sandals in summer, boots in winter. I feel that if I was only given one hour it would be best to teach wizarding students how best to blend in with muggles by what they wear. One of the biggest ways that wizarding kind can stick out like sore thumbs in the muggle world is by wearing things like cloaks and robes opposed to jeans and t-shirts. Another of course is by wearing inappropriate clothing

In the book “The Naked Roommate” by Harlan Cohen there are five tips that I could take out and apply to my life about my own health. The first of the five tips is “Freshman 15, or um 45”, I can apply this to my life because it applies to my weight. Being able to control my eating at my house where there aren't multiple fast food restaurants and an all you can eat buffet at Larson's commons was a lot easier than college. It can be hard to control myself from the temptations, but when I notice myself gaining weight it makes it a lot easier to want to go exercise and eat healthy. The second tip that can apply to me is “The student body image”, because body image is something that is very important to me.…

After reading the story of the ‘’Killings’’ by Andre Dubus and watching the movie ‘’In the Bedroom’’, by Todd Field there are some differences between the movie and the reading. The story takes place in Boston, Massachusetts. I believe the filmmaker wants to show us different things that can happen in a film or a reading. During the film, I noticed there were some differences in the movie and the reading. Some of the differences was how Matt, Frank’s father and the ex-Richard channel their anger into destruction in the reading.…

Every kid wants to experiment when they are younger. Some of us just seem to make a massive mess when we do it. Of course our parents always tell us that we should be careful not to stain our carpets with anything, and that is where I made my mistake. I was sitting in my room bored with nothing to do. May I remind you that this is not a good thing for a seven year old to be doing.…

The initial setting in this parable is rather nondescript. Jesus, the author, mentions a king (Matt 22:2), which evokes images of a palace and/or a throne room. As the author does not offer much more information beyond this, it is best not to read too much into this setting, but we can make a few observations. In the Old Testament, there are a number of stories wherein a king gives orders to his servants from his throne room. Pharaoh gives Joseph charge of his kingdom in his throne room (Gen 41:14-40).…

A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen was written in 1876s, but we still use some of the values of life that they used back then. Life is different for everyone and it is different from back then, but many are making the same decisions as the ones before. Decisions such as in marriage, relationships, money, or work. One may or not make the same choices as back then, but they look are looked back upon on. Today is different and we don’t have the same standards or rules as them, but the same results happen.…

T-shirt or shirt, jean or pant, tie or no tie, these are among the hardest decisions to make. Some students tend to like being dressed up, despite the fact that they are just going to a regular school day. They ought to wear fancy clothes, colorful dresses, in which they need to check once or twice inside the closet until they have their preference, ending up being late to school. As the saying goes, rather than paying our time looking at our wardrobe, we can literally put on the school uniform to save time, dressed formally just like their peers. Indeed, in comparison to regular school uniform, those luxurious clothes are much more expensive.…
