In order to maximize profits and increase sales among consumers, we recommend Bed Bath & Beyond establish subscription product boxes. Bed Bath & Beyond has been recognized by many consumers as a place to obtain products ranging from furniture to common household items. Bed Bath & Beyond distributes a variety of products that are targeted towards many different demographics, including college students to adult homeowners (Bed and Bath Linens, 2013). These product boxes will include an assortment of various products that are commonly distributed through Bed Bath & Beyond’s retail stores. Consumers would be able to order these boxes either through a monthly or an annual subscription. Bed Bath & Beyond would sell the monthly subscription for $40.00. The customer …show more content…
The variety of themes would include seasonal (winter, spring, summer, and fall), and holidays (winter holidays, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, etc.). These themes also include occasions of celebration (weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc.). The holiday boxes would only be available within their designated months. Consumers would not have the ability to request a particular themed box to be delivered within the month of a separate season. An example of this would be that a consumer could not purchase and receive a Christmas themed box in June. This restriction aids in reducing costs. The internal products included within these boxes would also be themed according to the particular season, holiday, or occasion. These products can range from items such as candles to cooking ware to decorations. Specifically, the Christmas holiday product box would include a small décor item, candle, ornaments, hand towels, holiday cookie cutters, and themed mugs. This would allow consumers who are interested in a particular season or theme to purchase a selection of Bed Bath & Beyond
