Ever since I was in middle school, I could only imagine myself becoming an orthodontist. One of the many reasons I decided to pursue this career is because I had braces when I was younger and I admired the workers at my dentist clinic. Whenever I had a dentist’s appointment, I was fascinated by how somebody has the opportunity to align a person’s smile and be able to give them confidence. Additionally, I managed to ask my dentist several questions I thought were necessary to know in order for me to expand my knowledge on what it was I had to do in order to become an orthodontist. By asking questions, I was able to learn that I had to attend a four year college institution and then apply to dental school where I can intern, obtain my residency
