Coming from a military lineage, I have been raised with American values and a deep sense of patriotism. Becoming an office in our military will allow me to demonstrate that sense of patriotism, as well as allow me to give back to the country that gave me so much. It has been a life goal to attend a service academy, as I know of the excellent officers that they produce. Many graduates of academies go on to great things in their lives, in both the civilian and military spheres. The leadership abilities that academies teach their graduates have tremendous value, and I believe that the finest officers come from these institutions.
