It was like looking through the window of a store, imaging all the wonderful things that you could purchase if you had enough money. However, once the day came around, it was a huge disappointment. It was like purchasing the item you had seen in the store window, to only have it not be what you had hoped for. My unrealistic illusion lead to the non-fulfilment of my expectations.
Having been already been let down by the hope that being adult was this great thing, I was soon hit with the pressures put on me by society. Society views teenages as forgivable misfits, however once you turn the age of 18 it seems the sympathy from other completely disappears.
