Very few people have the opportunity to work in the career of their dreams. People who love animals and want to save them are meant for the Veterinary career. 8,400 veterinarians are needed each year due to the increasing number of pets people have (“Veterinarians: Occupational Outlook Handbook:: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics”). A veterinarian needs a Doctoral degree, compassion for animals, and must work well under pressure.

As a matter of fact the schooling for a Veterinarian is very lengthy. A large amount of life will be spent learning and studying to have the job of your dream. To become a veterinarian the proper schooling and compassion for the animals is need. A Bachelors degree is a requirement for this job (“Veterinarians: Occupational Outlook Handbook:: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics”). No experience is needed. Some new veterinarians come right out of medical school and go straight to work. Working in a clinic is not all they do. They go to ranches, farms, people's houses, and some even work in laboratories (“Veterinarians: Occupational Outlook Handbook:: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics”). When working in a clinic there is no time to sit around. Personal weekends might turn into job days. Because working during the week is not enough. Animals are sick during the weekends too. Going from ranch to ranch or farm to farm is another constant. Checking on animals such as pigs, cows, and horses are a major part of the job. House visits will be a constant. Checking on people's cats, dogs, fish and other animals is part of the job. Working in the laboratories is working on vaccines, medication, health issues, and
