Becoming A UBC Student

Decent Essays
I would like to become a UBC student because my intention is to make my parents proud of me. At the beginning, my father disagreed with me to come to Canada. He said that I was too immature to go and living there would be too challenging for me. Nevertheless, he allowed me to come here because he trusted me and believed that I would create a preferable future. My parents always willingly support me financially, physically, and emotionally. They always encourage me and stay by my side. It is true that living in Canada is not easy for me, especially I am international. Every step through a better future comes with struggle and cost. However, I don't want to make my parents disappointed; I want to show them that I can make an accomplishment no
