Becoming A Trauma Nurse

When I was a little girl I would always dream of becoming a superhero instead of a princess. I would always daydream of helping people instead of being the damsel in distress stuck inside a castle. As a grew older I began to realize that there are real heroes in the world. They exist in real life and I have a chance to become one of them. Nurses are one of the many heroes out there. Helping people in traumatic events and trying to save lives is my dream job. My long-term career goal is to become a trauma nurse. That is my ultimate long-term goal. To specialize in trauma, I first need to become a registered nurse. My short-term career goal is to finish up my nursing assistant program and then get a job in a hospital in the trauma department.
