After acquiring my degree in biomedical sciences at Arizona State University, a career possibility could be becoming a sports physician. A sports physician works with athletes treating musculoskeletal injuries. In particular, my dream is to become a physician for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. As of now, I am able to begin getting involved in clubs or events that are relative and support my career goal. Different criteria applies when there is a choice in becoming a sports physician. In all honesty, it will take a lot of dedication and much effort to go through many years of schooling. However, the thought of one day fulfilling my dreams into reality is what drives me toward chasing after my dream goal. Becoming a sports physician would require particular action and exposure toward different experiences and events. For instance, it would take about thirteen years after high school to become a sports physician. First, I would complete my bachelor’s degree and complete all my …show more content…
Also, there are different ways I can begin preparing toward achieving my ultimate goal. Some advantages of becoming a sports physician would be getting to work with professional athletes, getting involved with both medicine and sports, the stableness of the job, and salary pay. Disadvantages would be the amount of years of schooling, the time and effort being put in, and time loss with friends and family. In order to achieve this career goal, I would have to adjust my trajectory at Arizona State University. I would begin by volunteering at sport-related events in the Tempe area or on campus. Also, join a club related to sports medicine as well as get excellent grades. A step I would propose to assist me on my career path would be getting in touch with an advisor and discussing my goals in life to develop a better understanding of my responsibilities toward achieving my
