One of the main reasons I would like to be a welder at John Deere is because my dad is a mechanic at the factory in Davenport. Welding has been very interesting to me ever since that day my dad came home from work . I was riding down the road and I fell off my bike and broke the handle bars, but my dad said it would be ok cause he could fix it. We went down to the basement and he grabbed the welder. Before my dad struck an arc I could not see because he made me put on safety glasses and a shade 10 helmet for eye protection. After he laid down the bead, I asked him what he did cause I was very confused. He told me he was welding (The process of Melting metal to the point where it bonds with another piece).
