Imagine a world where there are no nurses to take care of people that are really sick and can’t take care of themselves. There wouldn’t be enough doctors to take care of everybody and people would be dying. A registered nurse is someone who has graduated from a nursing program and passed the state licensing test. Four and a half years from now when I become a RN, I will make a competitive salary in an open job market in exciting and challenging work conditions. Meaning the city,weather it is a hospital,office,or long term care facility as well as if it is full time or part time and weekdays versus nights or weekends.The more experience you have the greater the pay as well.(Baxley) [The pay for a registered nurse] Average hourly wage:$29.98(“Registered Nurse”). [As an experienced registered nurse] annual wage:$79,950 (“Registered Nurse”). “Experienced hourly wage:$38.44”(“Registered Nurse”) “The median annual wage for registered nurses was $65,470 in May 2012.”(“Registered Nurses”). So I know i’ll get the best of both world because as a registered nurse I will be doing something that i not only love I will also be make a decent income for my future.
You need to be dedicated and have patience,but mostly knowing you have helped someone in educating them to improve their life is your goal.(Baxley) I love to help people and I try to educated patients to be able to live the healthiest life.(Baxley). Which is something I would also enjoy as a registered
