When I first moved to the United States from Puerto Rico I did not know English. Nowadays, I am fluent in English and Spanish and I plan to use that to my advantage. I had come to the US looking for a better education and I am committed to continue to study after high school. As a Latina, I believe that it is important for me to commit to a career and dedicate my life to doing something that will help others. I want to become a radiation oncologist and later on when I am more stable I want to become a veterinarian.
