I want to become a plastic surgeon. To become a plastic surgeon you must be a Doctor of Medicine. It takes about eight years of school to earn the degree. Usually these surgeons will go through four years of undergraduate school, and then four years of medical school. As well as three to seven years of residency after graduating. You can receive your degree at any established medical school. Some schools that offer these degrees are Kent State, Georgia Regions, Duke University, Yale University, and Georgetown University School of Medicine.

The median salary for plastic surgeons in 2014 was $246,176 (study.com), and there are plenty of job openings as well. The need for surgeons have grown by 18%. According to DocCafe.com, there are 108 job openings as of right now for plastic surgeons on their website.
