Becoming A Physical Therapist Essay

I can see myself being a physical therapist since six years ago, when my grandmother suffered a car accident, she was paralyzed from the waist down for at least three years. I remembered watching her desperate, powerless and tired from seeing herself depending from someone else. One day my grandfather contact a physical therapist, a young and very friendly lady that helped my grandma do her training and exercises, so she could regain mobility of her legs. I became very interested when I saw my grandmother’s smile when she saw that gradually benching that she carved mobility and moreover to saw the face of gratefulness on my granmother toward her therapist, I imagined how good she felt about her achievement helping my grandma to walk to the responsibilities this will entail, the skills one must have to succeed, plus other important aspects such as working conditions, salary, and the future of the job; however; just as important is to carefully seek out an institution like the University of Texas at Brownsville that will best prepare me for this profession.
