Becoming A Pediatrician

Knowing that you have helped a child who really needed your help is a blessing. That is why may people atlest look into becoming a pediatriacian. A pediatrician is a doctor who speacializes in taking care of kids. They take care of people under the age of 18. They diagnose and treat illnesses associated with children, assess the proper treatment to a specific age of a patient, perform annual checkups and immunizations, assess if a child is expirencing normal growth, and they work towards reducing infant and child mortality. A pediatrician has to work extra becuase there is a lot they have to check into when they are assesing a patient. Then they go onto four years of medical school and three to eight years of internships and residencies. This process can take ten or more years to complete, but it is worth it for the people who want to become pediatricianns because they enhoy working with and helping take care of children. Earning a bachelor’s degree, passing the mediacal college admissions test, earn a medical degree, completing a residency program, obtaining licensure, and getting certified to advance their career are the career steps that physicans have to take. Pediatricains work in offices, clinics, hospitals, and many other places. Pediatricians have to know how to make a child happy and laugh in order to do what they need to do. Sometimes they can’t do what they need to do becuase the child is being uncooperative. Pediatricians can’t be people who get fusterated when it takes them longer to do something then what they wanted. They need to stay focused and worry about giving their patiente the kind of care they need. At the end of the visit, sometimes the patient will get a special treat for allowing the doctor to get his job
