Becoming A Pediatric Oncologist Essay

I am the type of person who likes to plan ahead. I like to know what I want and where I will be starting my new life in college. I want to become a pediatric oncologist, I want to live close enough to my family in montana and have at least 2 children. I want to go to a good college somewhat closed to Montana because I want to be close enough home I can visit my family on the holidays. I would enjoy going somewhere like Utah, or Washington or Oregon. I want to become a pediatric oncologist, which means a lot of schooling. I would like to graduate with a minor in Spanish and a major in cancer biology and health science. To get these degrees it would take me a total of 5-8 years. I want to work in the medical field just because I have always …show more content…
I want to live in many different places throughout my life and travel a lot. When I have children i want to move back to Montana with the rest of my family. I want my children to be able to see and interact with their family throughout their lifetime. I also would like my children to grow up the way i grew up in Montana. I think it is important for my children to know their grandparents and aunts and uncles. When I am ready to have children i want to try and keep my family somewhat somewhat small. I want two kids. I want to have a close good relationship with my children. I want them to be a year or closer together in age. I am at least 5 years older than my next oldest sibling which made it hard to develop really strong connections with them. I also want them to be close enough in age that once they are ready for college then i will be ready to retire and move to a new location.
I like to envision my future as all planned out. When in reality there is no picking the life you get. I will work toward my big goals of graduating college and getting a career in the medical field. I hope that life takes me many places and that i live enough to be able to share great stories of my own when my children's children are just
