My journey begins with getting accepted, and admitted, into a sort of Accelerated Medical Program. Most colleges and universities, such as Rutgers and Ramapo, take the top ten percent of students from high schools around the state and have them placed in rigorous biochemical or biological science courses for about three years, while also guaranteeing them a spot in a designated medical school, should they succeed and graduate.
