My mom went back to school when I was a kid to get a degree and become a Medical Laboratory Technician. I didn’t really know what exactly she would be doing as someone with that job title, I always thought she was the one all the patients hated that poked them with needles to draw their blood but I found out that was the phlebotomist’s job. So for this project I chose to find out what it is exactly that my mom does, what she likes and doesn't like about her job, etc. I spent a day with my mom at work and got to learn all about what she does and how the lab operates.
