Along with the job outlook, there is some prediction that the policy on teacher tenure will soon be changing for every teacher with the change in policy in California. The court case Vergara v. California, it was ruled that the tenure policy for public high school teachers is a causing students to suffer. With this ruling, the policy is to be revised so that firing high school teachers that have tenure will not be as difficult as it is now. With this ruling, it is obvious that there might be many more changes to the tenure program for public school teachers in the future (Investor 's Business,
