Becoming A Girl: A Short Story Of A Registered Girl

This is a story of a girl who almost did not make it alive on earth. Twenty nine years ago, while the baby is still on her mother’s womb, the door have suddenly shut down and the baby’s cry have been heard but then stopped after. The doctor said the baby would not make it while asking the parents to be ready for whatever might happen. So, a miracle happened.

Amazing days have passed by and the little girl have blossomed into such a unique individual the universe has ever known. She sees herself standing in front of the mirror while thinking what could have happened if she were never born in this world. One of the many remarkable days in her life started when she entered a beauty competition for kids when she was three years old. The judges have asked her during the question and answer portion for what she would like to be when go grow up. Immediately, her response that time would be to become a doctor someday. With the numerous applause and cheers from the audience, she never failed to take away the smile on her face when the announcer proclaimed her to be the first-runner up. That moment reflects visibly to what this woman wants to achieve in her life. She did not finish medicine and become a doctor but she ended up being a registered nurse after college. First, she never wears make up during her teenage years because she usually loves playing and watching basketball games with her father. Until one day, she tried putting a lipstick on and she liked it. Second, she loves adventure. With tiny arms and legs, this awesome girl still manages to do unusual and extreme activities on land, on water, and even on air. These are some of the crazy and risky activities she have gone into; surfing, parasailing, tree jumping, etc. Doing the things the first time always thrill her and that is what adventure means for
