Great Essays
Many young adults my age are still much undecided about what they are going to do for a career and even further confused about when and where they are going to college. For myself, I knew I wanted to be a dietitian by 8th grade and I chose my two choice colleges by freshman year, and decided to take a year off before college in eleventh grade. The last path of dietetics is the path I will take is clinical, clinical registered dietitians (RD) gives nutritional therapy from a hospital or any long-term care facility. I …show more content…
Idaho Department of Labor’s website says that a Dietitian’s annual wage is $51,219. While the annual openings are few (about 9) the 10 year growth is much faster than average according the website (20.6%). It is considered to have a medium employment outlook of 306 in Idaho (idcis.intocareers.org). Some may say that that has its risk and disadvantages but I am passionate about nutrition and I know this is what I am supposed to do. Idaho Department of Labor has a lot of things that they advise I get done before I become a Registered Dietitian. I have to finish high school, at least bachelor’s degrees, complete an internship or pre-professional practice program, take an approved class, submit two certificates of professional recommendations, and pass the national registry exam (idcis.intocareers.org). While the passing of high school is obvious, I also have a plan for checking the other things of the
