University Program. Even though there are no limitations, you must have graduated with your
Associates of Arts Degree (Transfer Guide). Having this degree will allow you to be eligible for the program. It should only take you two and a half years to graduate with your Associates of the
Arts degree. After graduating with your Associates of Arts degree, the next step you must make is to apply to a college of your choice. To be accepted into a Dietetics program your pre- requisites must include: General Chemistry I 1045 with lab, General Chemistry II 1046 with lab,
Pre-Calculus 1147 or Pre-Calculus Algebra 1140 and Trigonometry 1114, Biology I 1010 with lab, Biology II 1011 with lab(Transfer Guide). To complete the program it will take you about two and a half years. Once you have graduated with your degree, you then must apply to internships around the country (Dietetics Major). To complete your internship you must complete at least 1,200 hours of working under a Registered Dietitian (Dietetics Major).
