Cecilia Zhu When the word Canada is present, some of the things show up in people’s mind are the magnificent natural scenery, the famous hockey playing and the cold climate in winter. However, not only these three terms make Canada distinct from the other counties and is considered as one of the greatest countries in the world. Canada has the second largest territory in the world with a long history. The history of Canada covers the period from the arrival of Paleo-Indians thousands of years ago to today. People live in Canada have the freedom to speech and have their own opinions. People are allowed to express themselves on the things happen around them and have the right to vote. Legal citizens can take a part into politics by voting for the formation of government and the candidate of next prime minster. These show the just human rights every Canadian has. In addition, people living in Canada benefit from its multiculturalism. Canada is a multicultural society with people come from many different ethnic background live in. Canada has two official languages—English and French. Beside that, there are many people speak dissimilar languages. The languages people speak across the whole world like Spanish, Russian, Korean, and Chinese. As a result, being a Canadian can get known with diverse cultures and taste special food from different countries. Different types of food restaurant open in Canada and many festival celebrate in the town. Canada opens its arms to friendly people with different backgrounds and religions to live in. Moreover, Canadians are proud of Canada’s high living quality. In Canada, people take benefits of having free health care. Due to the health care system, citizens are provided preventative care and medical care regardless of their economic or social situation. Canadians also take advantages of attending high standard education since Canada has one of the best education systems worldwide.
